In a first for the company and the country, the Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company is the first buld manufacturer from Vietnam to exhibit at the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair.
 The company domainates 65% of its domestic market and is in Hong Kong in search of strategic partners, says Mr Nguyen Hong Phu, Import-Export Manager. We have had so many customers interested in our company s products because we are able to guarantee quality and a competitive price, he said: We want to find customers from new markets, but we are also looking for companies that want to distribute through our network in Vietnma.With more than 30 years of manufacturing experience, the company employs more then 1,500 people in making compact fluorescent lamps and hight pressure lamps as well as ballasts, plugs and sockets. There will be more Vietnamese compainies coming to the fair in the future, says Mr Phu. We are the first, but many will follow us.
